This shows that the writer/singer disagrees with the Russians sending Laika into space in Sputnik 2. They think it is a crime, and believe the rumour that the food for Laika was poisoned. They agree that the invention of the satellite is amazing, and respect it , but don't like the fact that they are sending an animal up in it.

School Facebook page ;)

Our school now has a facebook page!! For homework we have to make a post about how the teachers can use it to communicate with us. I don't have a Facebook myself, so I really have NO idea. 
But guess it could be used to write dates of events coming up. (e.g house days, mufti days) Like a calendar maybe (if you can do that on facebook)??  Also, a good idea could be to include homework task reminders-
 (but keeping in mind that not everyone has a facebook page)

What is online grooming??

Online grooming involves a person using cyber technologies to try and set up a sexually abusive situation. The groomers lie (especially about age) and try to form a relationship with the chosen victim. They then try to find out more about the victim and often try and isolate them from their friends and family. Also, they can sometimes use threats and blackmail to gain more control.


What can happen??
You can be exposed to things like pornographic images videos, drawings and animations, text messages, emails, stories, sound bites and music. Some of this material will be age restricted and/or illegal . Some  material which is not illegal or age-restricted, may still be offensive!! The groomer will also try and arrange a time to meet the victim.


How can you help prevent grooming?
There will always be online groomers out there but here are some things you can do to stay safe!!

• Be careful who you give your email address and cell phone number to. DON"T give them to some random you saw in town.
• NEVER EVER arrange/ agree to meet someone you have met online - EVER
• Don't tell people personal information (like full name, school, address, contact details etc)
• Be very careful with pictures. Don't make yourself identifiable :)
• Tell someone if you are feeling unsafe!!

☻I think it is good that the food is listed alphabetically, it makes it easier to find the information you want. 
☻It is also good that there is a link to go back to the top of the page after each section of letters.
☻The background colour also doesn't make the writing hard to read.

For example :  cake was under the "cookie" section.
☻ For some items, there were more than one link for- It would have been easier if they were all in the same one.

Over all i would recommend the second site because ity has the best range of food info. But, if you are wanting to find info in a shorter amount of time, the first sight would be better.
